Job Description: Responsible for designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment or other hardware systems.Determines design approaches and parameters.Analyzes electrical requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results.Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.May also review vendor capability to support development.
Qualifications:Masters Degree with a minimum of 7 years of related experience; Ph. D is preferred Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Position requires a current Top Secret/SSBI Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
