We are currently seeking a Jar Technician for our Jar Yard located in Hobbs, NM. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Disassembling, evaluating, repairing and assembling fishing jars to ensure they are clean, proper and in good working condition before sending them out for utilization Operating magnetic particle inspection Maintaining, calibrating and reading micrometers and dial calipers Performing maintenance and upkeep to the shop or work area to ensure a safe and clean working environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

High school diploma, GED or equivalent Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English Good mechanical abilities and a basic understanding of work in a shop Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks Ability to learn and follow instructions well Willingness and ability to work extended hours in varied conditions
