Berklee College of Music seeks a network and telecommunications professional to install, support, and maintain all of the hardware and software required for the operation of the college?s network. You will assist with implementation, and documentation of all network upgrades and/or improvements. You will assist with establishing protocols for end users and network services providers on how to use Berklee?s network in a safe and responsible manner as well as ensure users adhere to the established policies of network and protocol use. The Network Services Administrator assists with projects that are assigned. Completes tasks as required for project completion deadlines, provides milestones, and written reports on status of projects assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor?s degree or equivalent professional experience. Three years of experience providing technical and administrative support in an IT capacity. Extensive knowledge of networks and server hardware/software and the ability to recognize and solve technical problems. Working knowledge of TCP/IP, UNIX, networking aspects and operating systems for Macintosh and Windows. Experience with network security issues and requirements including token identification, firewalls, IP filtering and intrusion alerts. Strong interpersonal, communications, organization and analytical skills in order to effectively interact and convey information about the function and operation of the campus network to users.
