DescriptionJOB PURPOSE
Provides quality loans for the company by underwriting and evaluating loan applications originated by the company's branch offices. Work is performed for moderately complex to complex assignments. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reviews and underwrites for consumer loans originated in the assigned regions, assuring compliance with all credit policies and consumer lending regulations; assures that the credit quality of the portfolio remains within standards established by senior management. 

Supports and contributes to the quality and sales goals of the bank through coaching sales staff in cross-selling and up-selling loan products and by delivering loan support through one-on-one coaching, group meetings and training classes. 


RequirementsKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES/TRAINING/SYSTEMS
Accurate typing, spelling and grammar skills. Proficient with applicable computer software. Good written and oral communication skills. Good organizational and customer service skills. Consumer lending and/or underwriting experience.
