MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree or higher. Fellow of the Society of Actuaries 

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE: 10 years relevant experience in the life insurance industry 

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: The candidate will have excellent techincal knowledge combined with business acumen. He/she will possess very good personal skills, inlcuding written and verbal communication skills. 

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIESRESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will have a leadership role in our domestic life insurance actuarial practice, managing modeling and financial analysis projects, along with associated clients and staff. The practice head will play a lead role in developing business for the practice, including marketing, proposing and closing on potential projects. He/she will have expertise in one or more of the following areas: corporate modeling, actuarial software, GAAP, mergers and acquisitions, cash flow testing, risk management, principles-based valuation, asset-liability management, economic value-added analysis, reserving or others. He will develop ideas for new projects, assist with research and develop efforts, manage client projects to budgets and timelines, and manage client expectations.
