Job Summary
The most influential HR Leaders engage Sr. Leadership and drive achievement of business objectives through progressive human capital philosophy.
The HR Performance Director is the primary interface between HR & operations and also provides collaboration on a variety of HR issues, providing linkage to HR service components and driving Patient Satisfaction and Service Excellence initiatives. The most talented HR leader drives process definition, simplification and integration efforts and disseminates best practices throughout the organization.
The persuasive HRD influences human capital philosophy, leadership & strategy by leveraging business expertise. You drive results by creating programs which develop employee competencies and business efficiency. You are both tactical and strategic, proactively identifying and solving problems. You counsel key leaders and influence the communication & change mgt strategies for the business (content, timing, execution & key messages).
Norton Brownsboro Hospital:
The new 127-bed hospital is adjacent to the 86,000 square-foot Norton Medical Plaza, which features a large primary care physician practice, a Norton Immediate Care Center, a Norton Diagnostic Center, and office space for primary- and specialty-care physicians.
The new hospital will provide a wide range of inpatient, outpatient and emergency department services, and will open for patient care in two phases: 80 beds in August 2009, and 47 beds in late 2011.
Position Requirements:
Education: BA in HR, Business, Healthcare Administration or related; MA preferred.
Experience: 5 to 10 years related healthcare / business experience with progressive leadership responsibility.
Special Training: Effectively communicate with all levels; innovative in approaches to problem solving, model proper behavior and ability to develop and implement strategies; strong working knowledge of HR technical elements; proficiency with PC applications essential.
Additional Expertise: Combination of various healthcare and HR areas such as: Patient Satisfaction, JCAHO, Organization Development, Compensation, Employee Relations, etc. Strengths in change management, conflict resolution, and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate all HR functions including Recruitment and Retention
Lead Patient Satisfaction and Service Excellence efforts
Oversee Coaching and Mentoring for the facility
Lead Employee Engagement and Accountability Agenda
Coordinate HR related Process Design, including Job Descriptions and Compensation
