The HR Director (HRD) for the Energy, ChemicalsIndustrial Systems (ECIS) business group leads, plans, and delivers strategic HR leadership and services to assure Human Capital capabilities for a global business that today represents approximately $315M in gross revenue and 800+ employees worldwide. The business strategic plan is to lay the HR foundation in the next few years for a multibillion dollar business in the years to come through strategic hires, alliances, and potentially acquisition.In this capacity, the ECIS HRD acts as the business partner to the President of the Business Group and the global leadership team. The HRD actively participates with the leadership team to support the outcomes required to meet the Strategic and Annual Business Plan with specific emphasis on: organizational development and analysis, talent management and strategic hiring, major proposal and project support, employee relations and performance management, development, implementation and administration of specific HR programs to support unique business needs. Generates high performance team building and understands staffs strengths and weaknesses. Works with project delivery and project managers to put together project teams that complement each others abilities, add value to the project/client, and communicates well.

The position has a double line reporting relationship to the President of the ECIS business group and the VP of HR for the Industrial Client Group (ICG). The HRD works across the business group globally and by business line (Energy OilGas, ChemicalsIndustrial Systems) to strengthen organizational performance of the ECIS business. The ECIS business contracts for EPC projects and a wide range engineering services on a global basis. 


This position works with peers in the ICG the HR shared services, international HR, the Talent Recruitment Center, other HR Directors and the HR community at-large to provide best-in-class HR solutions to ECIS and assure alignment with corporate requirements. 


The position provides management to two Human Resources Generalists and one HR Specialist and works closely with the international HR managers to provide business group leadership and direction. Accomplishes work by leveraging personal competencies and experience through influence, personal contributions, leadership and management expertise.

 of multi-national workforces.
· Experience with mergers & acquisitions desirable.
