This is a new and exciting part-time opportunity for a Brand Advocate/Food Demonstrator to join the Wal-Mart Live product demonstration team. In this role, you will serve as an ambassador for Wal-Mart Live, a national in-store product & promotional demonstration team. You will work with the public and our Regional Casting Director, assisting with all aspects of store demonstration activities. 
 
This position involves handing out a variety of perishable product samples. You will engage customers, invite them to sample products, and promote sales. During the demonstration, Brand Advocates are responsible for product sampling, engaging the audience in demonstrations, and promoting the products. 
 
The Responsibilities 
? Demonstration setup and breakdown (Demonstration cart provided; does not involve heavy lifting/strenuous physical work) 
? Promote and educate the demonstration visitors on the products 
? Purchase additional products when supplies run out 
? Clean up equipment and demonstration areas (Clean individual carts and general demonstration area) 
? Demonstration Execution ? Conduct sampling, engage audience, promote and educate consumers on products 
? Weekly/Daily online reporting 
? Troubleshoot any in-store sampling/event execution issues with Regional Casting Director and store manager 
 
Schedule 
? Program Dates: March 7th through the end of May, 2008 
? Weekly Schedule: (Hours may vary from week to week and there might be weekend days that you will not be required to work.) 
o Friday - 2:30 PM ? 8:00 PM 
o Saturday - 11:30 AM ? 5:00 PM 
o Sunday - 11:30 AM ? 5:00 PM 
 
Initial Program Training ? Required (paid) 
? Program Overview Training ? 1 hour 
? Food Safety Certification Training and Exam ? Minimum of 8 hours

Job Requirements:
Requirements 
? Experience in event marketing, demonstrations or retail/grocery is highly desirable 
? Friendly, outgoing personality; confidence to engage the general public 
? Reliable transportation to/from your specified location is required 
? Capable of light physical work; such as pushing the carts and setting them up 
? Must pass pre-employment background check 
? Must pass pre-employment drug check 
? Must commit to the program through the end of May 
? Outside employment is permitted as long as it does not interfere with your responsibilities with Wal-Mart Live 
? Must have broadband home Internet access (required for daily online reporting) 
? Neat appearance; uniforms will be provided
