Quidel Corporation has an outstanding opportunity in the Acute Care Division of its US Sales organization for an experienced sales representative. The Health Systems Manager will develop, maintain and expand business opportunities among key targeted acute care customers in varying markets and channels of distribution, managing and leveraging these opportunities in order to drive continuous growth and profitability for Quidel Corporation. The successful candidate must live in the assigned territory. 

Requirements: Education and Experience:
 ?Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience in appropriate field; RN or Medical Technology education and/or experience preferred.
 ?A minimum of 3 years successful medical sales experience, preferably in the medical device/ diagnostic market. Additional 2 years nursing, medical technology, or hospital lab experience preferred.
 ?Experience with hospital sales, and/or national accounts preferred.
 Other Requirements:
 ?Outstanding sales, presentation and negotiation skills.
 ?Ability to work autonomously, and at the same time promote and facilitate a team effort.
 ?Computer proficiency in Word and Excel (PowerPoint preferred).
 ?Ability to think strategically and bring a high level of creativity to the organization, along with a thorough understanding of the distribution organization.
 ?Proven track record of demonstrated ability to manage his/her territory.
 ?Ability to analyze financial data.
 ?Personal ethics and integrity that embody best practices and support highest corporate values.
 ?Must be physically able to travel up to 70% of the time.
 ?Must have the discipline, organization skills and self-motivation to work autonomously in a home office environment.
 ?Must maintain a valid driver?s license.
