Job Summary
We currently have a career opportunity at our Bentonville, AR Regional Business Center as a Business Development Manager. In this role you will be responsible for achieving defined brand strategies and top line sales objectives within your assigned national account customer, Wal-Mart with approximately a $75-$140MM million sales volume based on Business Unit opening.
Job Responsibilities
*Working within the framework of a team and managing day-to-day sales activities including: Attainment of quotas, accurate sales forecasting, account/brand specific, identifying opportunities, developing and delivering effective sales presentations, strategic planning, developing individualized customer specific budgets, and management of promotional spending.
*Overseeing the cross-functional relationship between our customers and the various internal disciplines.
Basic Qualifications
*This position requires a variety of skills including effective administration, sales, training, communication and time management.
•Bachelor’s degree.
•Minimum of seven years sales experience in a CPG environment.
•Internal personnel management (including Broker management).
•Excellent sales ability as demonstrated by previous promotions within same organization.
•Comprehensive knowledge of CPG industry.
•Trade promotion spending.
•Retail Sales.
•Category Management.
•Managing complex accounts on a National level.
•Product management a plus.
•Must be willing to relocate.
•Ability to travel overnight.
•Valid driver’s license.
