 Overview: Provide customer service to internal and external customers; ensure quality, accurate preparation of documents for storage by means of microfilm or digital image storage.Position Information: • Perform quality audit on screen to ensure high quality document storage and audit scanned documents • Review and prep individual documents for scanning, and hand index documents that scanner fails to read• Compile and resolve error reports• Ensure microfilm camera is loaded properly, perform pre-check inspection, monitor camera and fix any problems • Receive request for copies of proofs of delivery, bills of lading, etc. and research information• Research and provide verbal delivery confirmation and shipment status• Log all calls • Audit the quality of field scanning systems• Resolve missing and illegible imaged documents• Log department documents and assign control numbers• Perform frame by frame quality audit of microfilm before disposal/destruction of original documents• Retrieve microfilm records as requested• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures• Perform other duties as required Disclaimer: This job description is general in nature and is not designed to contain or to be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications required of employees assigned to the job.Qualifications: • Must possess high school diploma or equivalent• Six months to one year office experience, preferred• Working knowledge of computers• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet software• Data entry and typing skills• Good telephone skills• Must be detail-oriented• Basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
