Central Arizona Project (CAP) has an opportunity for an experienced maintenance engineer requiring a BS in electrical engineering & 5 years of experience in operation & maintenance activities preferably in power utilities or heavy industry.
Requirements: Must have experience in developing and implementing a predictive/condition-based maintenance program including knowledge of predictive & condition monitoring technologies & their application to power transformers, switchgear, and rotating machines and experience using predictive maintenance techniques such as power factor testing, dissolved gas analysis, partial discharge measurements and infrared scans. Also desire knowledge and experience in power system modeling, fault and arc-flash analysis and protective relay coordination as well as automated control and monitoring systems, PLC's and control networks. Must possess strong communications skills, & a demonstrated commitment to safety. Experience w/CMMS is a plus. Maintenance & reliability cert desired. Valid AZ DL & clean driving record required.
