The Iowa Juvenile Home/Girls State Training School (IJH/GSTS), is seeking a candidate for a Science Instructor. The instructor would be responsible for providing science instruction to middle and high school students who reside at IJH/GSTS. Primary responsibilities would include teaching 5 - 6 classes per day, serving as an educational advisor for 6 - 8 students, and working collaboratively with other members of the educational and clinical departments. Applicants must have a validIowa TeachingLicense. Applicants who have a Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education/Science and with a Special Education License/Instructional Strategist 11: Endorsement will be given priority consideration.Schedule: This is a twelve-month position.* Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.; 12:30 p.m. - 4:15p.m.
