Senior Development Manager In this role you will manage a local team of firmware engineers, manage several firmware projects, and engage with US silicon vendors as part of a global Engineering team. Key TasksLead, develop and motivate the Engineers on the local Silicon BIOS teamsWork closely with development engineers, validation engineers, and managers from US based silicon vendorsWork with engineers to prioritize tasks, develop action plans, track issues, and manage expectations for global projectsOversee design activities to ensure both the product requirements and the schedules are being metWork with customers and partners to help them understand technical aspects of productsWork with marketing to define customer requirements and understand the customer’s issuesCreate improvements in the development processCreate successful outcomes in the face of imminent chaosInstill the right work ethic and positive morale in direct reportsLead by example Management/Business SkillsTime Management. Qualifications & ExperienceMS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electronic Engineering, or 10 years of relevant experience and a BS degree.Over 6 years software engineering management experience.Must be able to travel freely to international destinations including Asia as much as 1 week per quarter.
