Job Description: JOB SUMMARYThe Lead Business/Clinical Systems Analyst provides management and direction to a team for a focused portion of a project or projects. The Analyst Lead has a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements and is able to correlate between business, functional, and technical requirements. Leads the team in implementing a packaged application solution.Responsible for fostering a dynamic team environment that provides exceptional professional and personal growth opportunities for all team members. JOB QUALIFICATIONS1. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in management, health care management, and/or information systems, Masters degree is desirable. Advanced or specialized credentials desirable. 2. Minimum of 6 years of experience required, with several years’ experience in business process reengineering; health care focused operational experience a plus. 3. At least 2 years of management experience is desirable. 4. Ability to leverage and lead a diverse business process team with various levels of packaged application implementation skills. Leads a focused portion of a project. 5. Familiarity with tools and concepts of process improvement is desirable, including the following: methods analysis, work sampling, statistical analysis, financial analysis, and systems analysis. High proficiency in Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Visio (or other work flow tool) is required. 6. Effective project management skills are required: development and management of detailed project plans, objectives, control methods, and coordination of project team efforts. Must be able to prioritize, organize, and assess work in order to meet deadlines. Must have issue tracking and resolution skills, and the ability and commitment to meet aggressive deadlines and to cope in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organization and time management skills are necessary. 7. Must have a solid grounding in information systems, understanding not only general strategy drivers, but more detailed industry-specific issues, as well as the linkage between user needs and system enablers. Strong functional IT, general management consulting, organizational realignment, and business background. Working knowledge of multiple software applications and database structures, systems analysis and design, database design, and hardware. 8. Experience in business process mapping. Experience defining requirements and packaged application software development methodologies. Ability to correlate between business, functional, and technical requirements. 9. Solid understanding of the technical implications of changes requested by business users. Able to quickly articulate benefits, re-design and cost implications of change requests. Leads and supports the user change request process. 10. Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, and effective presentation skills. Experience developing presentations for project work. Meeting facilitation expertise.11. Capable of working well in a diverse team environment and successfully interacting with others at all levels of the organization, including remote teams. Ability to maintain a professional attitude and demeanor in both normal and pressure situations. Ability to work independently. 12. Proven skills in problem solving.Position requires Analyst to be on-call and carry a pager, work weekends or off hour times to resolve problems/ implement changes and travel between the different hospital facilities as needed.We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.
