PURPOSE: Facilitate communication between MAPMG physicians, area hospital staff/physicians and other pertinent Kaiser Health Plan staff through the use of the paging system. Support clerical needs of the Call Center Nursing staff.
Consistently supports the precepts of Corporate Compliance and Principles of Responsibility by maintaining confidentiality, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with integrity, reporting observed fraud and abuse, and complying with applicable state, federal and local laws and program policies and procedures, as well as, proper use of Kaiser Permanente Personal Computer (PC) and applications.
Accountabilities: (List of 4 - 6 primary responsibilities, not activities, in their order of importance.Perform paging for physicians and other designated clerical and administrative staff for the region. Perform all physician paging for the Hospital Hotline Provides clerical support to the Call Center Nursing Staff. Perform other duties as assigned to include, but not limited to. Assists physicians in obtaining pertinent medical information as needed required. Generates statistical reports regarding call volume required. Maintains/updates all daily call schedules for physicians in the region required. Performs other related duties as directed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Relevant Years of Experience:
One year of clerical experience preferable in an outpatient medical setting required.
Education and/or Classes:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Proficiency in the use of applicable computer software.
