Support the Risk management functions with providing a safe and secure environment for IKEA customers and Co-workers, adequately insuring and protecting our assets and profits.

Your responsibilities
- Co-ordinate Safety and Security training functions in partnership with Human Resources.
- Perform standardised Safety/Security compliance audits for all locations.
- Ensure compliance with governmental regulations.
- Co-ordinate Risk Management efforts relative to remodels and new unit construction.
- Co-ordinate Safety and Security functions for new unit operations.
- Develop and implement training and procedures to reduce customer and Co-worker injuries.
- Contribute to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality which embraces the diversity of our Co-workers and customers.
- Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as assigned.

 Requirements Knowledge
- Computer literacy.
- Basic knowledge of CPR, First Aid
- Knowledge of inventory methods, retail theft loss trends and inventory control methodology.
- Loss Prevention, Safety or Insurance experience preferred.
