Job SummaryOnly those associates with NASD Supervisory licenses are to be mapped to this job code. Manages diverse administrative functions usually for a very large, complex department or business unit. Functions managed may include: financial control / budgeting and consolidation, personnel processes, audit / compliance, premises, and coordination of certain projects, associate training, service quality, process improvement, business continuity, or communication. May consult with senior management to define and manage projects that encompass and impact many associates. Requires a thorough knowledge of the department or business unit's functional area or products. Working knowledge of general bank policies, programs and procedures and financial / accounting practices. Has full management responsibility over a team and may manage one level of managers.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Industry experience: 5+ years of experience in the securities industry.
Individual should possess a thorough knowledge of the compliance and regulatory requirements for licensed individuals.
Candidate must have an outstanding work ethic and the ability to work well with diverse personalities.
Must have series 7, 63, and 24 in order to be minimally qualified.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of2 years of supervisory experience.
Additional licenses may be required depending on job responsibilities.
Series 53, 4, 65 or 66 or ability to obtain within 120 days of employment.
Texas Group 1or ability to obtain within agreed upon time period.
Bilingual - Spanish/English
