External Job Description Eaton Corporation located in Sioux Falls, SD has an opening for a Sr. Sales Support Associate.
This position reporting to the Sales Manager of the Sioux Falls office is responsible for customer support. This position interfaces with other Sales Support Associates, Sales Engineers and the Sales Manager. Receives telephone, e-mail and fax customer inquires. Prepares product quotations, purchase order entry, credit card processing and contact database entry. Reviews data base entries and sales orders for accuracy. Approves sales orders entered by other Sales Support Associates.
The primary functions of this role include the following:
A. Gathers information from customers for entry into the ACT customer database to track customer calls and to utilize for customer catalog mailings
B. Prepares standard product quotations for customers, sends them to the customer and confirms receipt with the customer to support field sales
C. Receives customer purchase orders and reviews them for accuracy to be entered into the SBT sales order entry system for order fulfillment
D. Maintains accuracy on database and order entry systems by approving other Sales Support Associates entries in the system
E. Reports any quality issues on data entry to the Sales Manager for corrective action
F. Performs outbound calls for quote follow up customer database updates.
G. Documents sales leads and prepares reports on lead activity for the Sales Manager, Sales Reps and Graphics and Media Director to measure advertising effectiveness
H. Provides telephone, e-mail and fax support for customer inquires pre and post sale
I. Works with other members of the sales department in a team environment to increase sales and to meet monthly and yearly sales objectives through a variety of sales initiatives

Job Qualifications Candidate should have a BS or BA in business or marketing and 1-3 years customer service experience in a similar field. The candidate should be capable of working in a fast paced environment that requires multi-tasking. The candidate should be computer proficient in e-mail, Windows XP, Excel and Word. Phone and database experience is required. The role involves direct interfacing with customers and requires a high degree of professionalism, accuracy and organization
