Responsible for the design of comprehensive, market competitive compensation and benefits strategies and programs designed to attract and retain qualified employees. Ensure that compensation and benefits programs are compliant with federal and state wage and hour laws. Act as an expert advisor and consultant to HR business partners to help achieve thier organizational objectives. partner and provide leadership strategy, coaching, guidance and training to US managers in order to meet company objectives. Ability to develop trusting relationships with all customers and use judgement and initiative to resolve problems and make recommendations.
Will be a leader within Compensation / Benefits team and provide direction to others.
Specific Responsible: Design, develop, evaluate, document, communicate and administer pay programs for base and variable pay.
Design, develop, evaluate, document, communicate and administer benefits program. Participate in , conduct and analyze salary survey data. Perform internal and external salary analysis to determine appropriate salary levels.Perform job evaluations and develop new job families and classifications as necesary. Provide expertise consulting services to executive management on regulatroy requirements, compensation innovations, and industry trends. Guide business partners and managers on new hire levels/rates, market evaluations,employee career progressiona dnd pay strategies to meet objectives. Research and evaluate new compensation and benefits trends/programs and make timely recommendations. Evaluate administrative process for efficiency. Improve and streamline processes related to compensation and benefits administration. Work with Employee Relations and Legal Counsel to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Job Requirements Must have a Bachelors degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or related field.
Must have 10+ yrs of extensive compensation and benefits experience including base pay management and variable pay programs. Must have expert working experience with all levels of management, particularly senior levels. Working knowledge of HRIS reporting (SAP, PeopleSoft, etc) is required.
Other requirements include Excellent presentation / communication skills. Demonstrated ability to turn data analyst into insights. Must have knowledge of federal laws, and general human resources policies and procedures related to compensation and benefits. Must have working knowledge of statistical analysis. Must be able to multi-task by working on several assignments for various customers.
Strong computer skills in Excel, Access and Word. Must be highly organized. Must be about to travel as required up to 50% of the time, including hostile areas. CCP/SPHR certifications would be a plus,a MBA would be a plus. Any contingency or government contract experience would be a plus. International compensation and benefits exposure/knowledge would be a plus.
