 Job Description: Responsibilities 

*Mechanical design/development of instruments, equipment and test apparatus in support of test programs.*Evaluate and implement new methodologies and validation techniques.*Provide technical input on test systems development.*Work with customers both internal and external to GE.*Provide technical support and leadership in areas of operational programs.*Work with Test Engineers and combustion design team members to plan, implement and execute new systems for validation. Qualifications 

*Minimum 2+ years experience in mechanical design and development environment.*BS degree in Mechanical Engineering.*Must be willing to take a drug test as part of the selection process. *Must be willing to submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process. *Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. *If currently a GE employee, must have been in current position for at least 18 months and have at least a satisfactory performance rating. Desired 

*Professional Engineer License.*MS degree in Engineering. GB certified with demonstrated DFSS skills.*Experience working with all aspects of validation hardware design.*Familiar with AutoCAD.*Knowledge and understanding of test instrumentation and validation techniques. General
