Looking for a MAC technician. The following are requirements for the position:*Apple Certified in both hardware and software (version O/S 10)*Knowledge in Apple warranty process*5+ Years of Apple experienceIndividual will:•Provide quality service support and technical assistance of connectivity and high-end systems products to internal and external clients•Install and implement connectivity and high-end systems products•Participate in the configuration and support of internal systems•Assist in the demand creation of network services•Partially responsible for Break/Fix activities related to the Server environment•Fully responsible to Perform Simple Account Management, I.E. Login Accounts, Password Resets•Perform Simple Data Migrations•Partially responsible for Network administration and restoration•Responsible for creation and testing of images•Perform other duties as assigned•Positively influence customer satisfaction level with provided products and services through meeting customer expectations, follow-up, and positive problem resolutions•Maintain technical competence by keeping abreast of technology and technological developments, practices, and procedures through continual review of product manuals and vendors’ technical product bulletins. Maintain self-paced training as available and attend formal manufacturer training on a quarterly basisb>Job Family Responsibilities: Performs complex maintenance of company telephone systems, including phone installation and enhancements, record keeping and routine diagnostic procedures. Performs complex technical support for personal computers, hardware, application software, operating systems and connectivity to networks. Conducts evaluations and tests new software/hardware, and software releases for potential us to meet automation needs. Performs evaluations of user requests and recommends standard hardware and software solutions.Key Responsibilities: Performs complex and technically demanding work within technical or paraprofessional area. Effectively identifies problems as they occur and takes appropriate steps to solve them in situations where the problem is more difficult and complex. Refers only most complex, unusual problems to others.Education: Associate¿s degree or 1-2 years of vocational technical training preferred. HS diploma or equivalent required. Specialized skill training/certification may be required.Knowledge and Experience: Successfully demonstrates thorough/ advanced knowledge of a technical or specialty area. Generally, 5-8 years of successful experience in area of responsibility and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.Direction of Others: May provide general guidance to others and train lower level employees.Key Working Relationships: Frequent inter-organizational and external contacts.
