SEIU/District 1199 is a union of 30,000 healthcare and social service workers in Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky. Nationally, SEIU is the largest and fastest growing health care union in the country, with a million members working in health care. The work of the successful candidate has the potential to change the lives of tens of thousands of caregivers and their residents, and to bring about real and measurable social and economic justice.
Job Qualifications: · Background in epidemiology, biostatistics, health services research, or public health (advanced degree preferred)
· Strong analytical skills
· Ability to work with large healthcare datasets
· Intellectual creativity and a relentless drive to win
· Commitment to improving the lives of working families
Candidates without a background in the fields listed but with work experience analyzing large datasets are also encouraged to apply. Experience working with SQL and SPSS is desirable. EOE.
