Description
The Financial Advisor I participates in specialized training program to internally develop future Financial Advisors. The primary focus of the Financial Advisor I role is to build and enhance client relationships under close supervision of sales management and Financial Advisor. Associates will learn to assess client needs, meet with existing and prospective clients, review investment goals and prepare recommendations for products such as stocks, bonds, options, mutual funds and annuities. The Financial Advisor I is responsible for understanding client needs and recommending the product/services that meet these needs. Financial Advisor I will also maintain existing relationships with clients in order to advise on future investment needs. Additional duties may include client service, fulfillment and issue resolution. The Financial Advisor I will focus on developing and expanding client relationships that will generate revenue for the company across both our banking and investment platforms. The Financial Advisor I will participate in the development of a business and marketing plan to meet the goals for this position. For the duration of this training program, this position is eligible for overtime pay. Upon completion of the program and transition to the Financial Advisor II, the position is no longer overtime-eligible.
Qualifications
Candidate should have sales experience. Should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong relationship building and business partnering skills. candidate should be self-motivated and proactive with the ability to balance multiple priorities. Active Series 6 or 7 license, or the ability to obtain one. 6 months in a Series 6 or 7 sales role. 5 years of business experience desired.Proven outside sales experience. Track record of success. Clean U-4 and U-5 history. Must not have participated in another firm's training program. Must not have been a Financial Advisor previously.
