Summary
Promotes and sells DHL services to meet sales targets and generate revenue. Responds to customer needs and requirements with the appropriate DHL service. Maintains a high-level of customer service with existing customers and leverages relationships to expand business. Develops relationships with new clients by prospecting and responding to business development leads. Monitors and reviews customer sales activity and makes adjustments to processes and strategies as needed.
TasksAccountabilities
Sells profitable new business within assigned territory to include: cold calling, cultivating leads, and networking. Makes customized presentations to various decision making audiences to close new business. Maintains relationships with current account base using to include: face to face visits, problem solving and issue resolution, and administrative follow up. Develops new profitable opportunities within account base. Collaborates with Sales and Operations team to maximize sales and revenue growth within territory. Uses company tools, processes and technologies to manage/grow territory and document activity. Works teams, projects, and special sales related assignments in support of DHL strategies/initiatives. Assumes additional responsibilities and team leadership roles as assigned.
SkillsQualifications
Intermediate-level professional contributor. Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline and 2-5 years experience in related field or MS/MA and generally 1-3 years of experience in related field.
