- be responsible for drafting operational suitability inputs for test reports, 
- provide frequent on-demand rapid problem analysis and resolution of OT&E issues, including short-notice background research as directed by customer to support conflict resolution within AFOTEC and outside agencies, 
- liaison between all open-air testing venues for OT&E planning and execution. 
 
Business travel of moderate frequency and duration is required. 
 
SCOPE: Responsible for providing logistics technical assistance in the development, testing, procurement, and program management of technology and/or policy studies or analysis in support of the United States government goals and objectives. Contributes to the development of the organization's goals and objectives. Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors, outside customers, and functional peer groups at management levels. 
 
 
REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS: Bachelors degree in related technical field and 3+ years of fighter testing experience. Masters degree in technical field desired. 
 
Recent USAF fighter maintenance flight-line operational experience required. Experience in aircraft status and availability analysis process required. Experience with the operation and or evaluation of fighter weapon systems. Ability to gather data through observations and validate information by applying judgment for test results. Must possess strong organizational, time management, written and oral communication skills. Must be a self starter, team player with a positive attitude, and ability to handle pressure situations with frequent interruptions. Must be detail oriented and possess strong work ethic. Proficient in MS Office applications. 
 
DESIRED SKILLS: Experience with current AFOTEC test plans and reports process, Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP), test procedures, data collection, analysis, and interfacing with program offices and other Services OTAs is desired. Knowledge of aircraft avionic, propulsion and armament systems. Greater than ten years experience with the operation and or evaluation of USAF fighter weapon systems.
