This position will provide spectrum management support to the Strategic Planning Office within the Defense Spectrum Organization (DSO). This position will support DSO in the areas of DOD spectrum management strategic planning and outreach. The position will involve supporting the Defense Spectrum Management Architecture (DSMA) and the Transition Strategy and Roadmap development/revision, assisting DSO in developing long-term plans and strategies based on regulatory activities and technology developments to support the transformation of spectrum management within DoD, and supporting the development of methodolgies and processes used to define DoD spectrum requirements. The position will also involve advocating DOD positions on spectrum issues both nationally and internationally, and supporting DOD national/international technical and technology outreach efforts.
 Candidate must have strong communication skills, the ability to work well on diverse teams that include senior Government personnel, and be capable of researching, analyzing, and developing plans and policy. Candidate must be able to generate professional documentation such as analytical studies and DOD executive level presentations, provide oral presentations to DOD senior managers and external organizations that include large audiences. Knowledge of spectrum regulations and processes, DOD spectrum dependent systems such as ground/shipborne/airborne radar systems, fixed and mobile satellite systems, navigation systems, and communications systems is desired. Experience working on DOD programs, and military experience is also desired. 

Experience Requirements:
 Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Masters Degree preferred) and 15+ years experience required.
 US citizenship and active security clearance required
 
 Postion required wokring on-site at a Government facility in Alexandria, VA.
