ORACLE DBA 
 ' 8 years as a development database administrator 
 ' 3 years in-depth experience in the design, programming, administration, and support of RDMBS in one or more computing environments.
 ' RDBMS implementation and administrator (Oracle 10g)
 ' Detailed knowledge and understanding of logical and physical database modeling concepts and design, planning, definition, structure, and documentation. 
 ' Extensive experience with monitoring performance, analyzing explain plans and tuning database SQL and PL/SQL functions.
 ' Experience with standards, guidelines and quality assurance for database deliverables
 ' Experience with the integration of disparate data sources using ETL technology
 ' Experience with both DSS and OLTP database strategies and aligning technology with business strategy.
 ' Experience with Oracle 10g Xquery, XML views and XML parsers and renderers (imports and exports).
 ' Manage database structures through performance monitoring, tuning as required to meet changing requirements. Defines, establishes and performs regular backups of designated databases.
 ' Participate in the evaluation and recommendation of new database tools and DBMS technologies.
 ' Develop tools for monitoring and evaluating data quality.
 ' Excellent written and verbal communication skills especially in database and application technical documentation 
 ' Business Intelligence Application design, implementation, administration (currently Business Objects.)
 ' Experience in data mapping tools and Data Extraction Transformation and Loading (ETL) tools and techniques, including Informatica, a plus. 

Experience Requirements:
 Required experience:
 ' Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
 ' Requires both breadth and depth of skills and knowledge in many Information Technology disciplines including Data Warehousing, ETL, SQL, Data Management, and Business Intelligence systems.
 ' Proficiency in Oracle Application Server architecture.
 ' Strong proficiency in PL/SQL (3+ years).
 ' Proficiency in database-related XML technologies i.e. Xquery. Familiar with XML parsing and XML Schema Documents (XSD).
 ' Familiarity with n-tier architecture environments with MS Internet explorer, Apache/HTTP web servers, Oracle Portal, and Oracle 9i/10g databases. 
 ' Must have very good communication skills, be a team player, and be a self starter on software development initiatives. 
 ' Proficiency and experience in the following areas: project management, technical leadership, written and oral communication, negotiation skills, and contingency planning.
 ' Experience with ERWIN and Toad database tools
