Work assignments can include lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling packages up to 100 pounds in weight, and up to 150 pounds with a helper. Warehouse temperature and humidity varies based on local weather conditions; it is hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Additional Job Information:

Loads and unloads materials onto or from delivery vehicle by hand.

Manually place packages onto sortation systems and sort packages to the proper conveyor system.

Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.

Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.

Clamps sections or portable conveyor together or places conveyor sections on blocks or boxes to facilitate movement of materials or products.

Move certain types of packages (incompatibles, rejects, no reads, heavy weight, and company mail) to and from conveyor system carts and load gratings.
