We currently have an exciting opportunity for a BENEFITS ANALYST (entry level programmer) located at our ROLLING MEADOWS, IL office.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
4-yr. Degree Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
0-1+ years of relational database experience with SQL Server, Experience in researching, analyzing and correcting data issues in a controlled, high quality environment. Implementations, data migrations and conversions experience a plus. Must be able to code solutions in PL/SQL, or T-SQL.
SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: TECHNICAL:
SQL Server, PL/SQL, T-SQL, MS Access, Visual Basic, Data Junction.
Excellent analytical and communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform updates to plan/rate/eligibility setup for the HR Portal application as it relates to health and welfare plan administration
Construct interchanges for importing/exporting data.
Develop ad hoc and custom reports for client teams using SQL/PLSQL.
Work with project managers to ensure all deliverables are met on time and accurate
Gather requirements and prepare requirements definition documentation.
Provide data analyst support for issues and projects
Perform root-cause analysis on issues and document results.
Develop solutions for issues and perform validation testing.
