Tetra Tech is a multi-disciplinary firm of consulting environmental scientists and engineers with offices throughout the United States. We are seeking a Geotechnical Field/Laboratory Technician to join our Missoula, MT office and become an integral member of our team.
Responsibilities:
Perform geotechnical laboratory testing; provide clear, concise, written documentation of activities in the form of laboratory test results and a laboratory report; and communicate technical issues, questions, and suggestions.
Interact with construction professionals in a productive and constructive manner. Help to resolve field issues through positive communication skills. Develop an ability to communicate with our staff members to help relay technical data and monitor progress through field testing and observation.
Experience Requirements:
None required. Prior Experience with field testing methods and/or geotechnical laboratory testing preferred. Willing to train a motivated person.
Degree Requirements:
No degree required. A.A. degree in Engineering Technologies or currently working on a degree in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred.
