Provide Information Assurance (IA) support for the Commander, United States Pacific Fleet (CPF) Command, Control, Communications, Computer, and Intelligence (C4I) Directorate (N6). Scope includes technical research, C4 IA requirements analysis, C4 operations mission impact assessment, and other assistance to resolve IA issues. Technical support will include:- provide firewall and VPN policymaking and technical assistance- provide technical and policy insight into all firewall and VPN issues. Participate in all COMPACFLT firewall and VPN meetings and discussions and coordinate resolution of CPF VPN and firewall issues - provide assistance to Program Managers and other personnel in the development and submission of VPN requests - review and evaluate submitted VPN requests, System Security Authorization Agreements (SSAA), Residual Risk Assessments, site security accreditation and other required security compliance with firewall and VPN policies- author information/position papers and/or official message traffic as required to support CPF leadership decision making process for C4I and/or IA related decisions- review all DoD, DoN Pacific Theater C4I related policies to stay current and maintain the capability to represent CPF HQ N6 as IA Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)-coordinate appropriate CPF HQ IA training in accordance with DoD Directive 8750.1- maintain a knowledgebase and coordinate resolution for CPF HQs theater and coalition IA related issues.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Must have the following:
*U.S. Citizen
*DOD Networks
*DOD network software infrastructure
*11+ Years with HS or 7+ Years with AA or 5+ Years with BS or 2+ Years with MS.
*3 years experience in Navy/DOD IA Policies and Procedures. .
Prefer the following:
*NMCI Network HW Infrastructure.
*NMCI Network SW Infrastructure.
*CISSP or equivalent certification (DOD 8570 IAT Levell III certification) desired or must obtain within 6months of hire
*COMPACFLT C4I networks architecture and operations.
