The Georgia Department of Human Resources, Division of Public Health, is seeking highly qualified candidates for our Program/Quality Manager position.
The QA Manager will be responsible for ensuring the proper implementation in each county. Duties include: ensuring the module is implemented, act as a trouble shooter, serve as an expert to the staff in the local counties who are doing the work, supervise the State IFS Staff, work closely with the partnering agencies, and work closely with Georgia University to ensure that collaboration with partners are reached in each division. The QA Manager will be supervised by the Director of IFS to ensure the module is implemented as design to achieve the outcome for the division. Other duties will be assigned as needed.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Under broad supervision, manages and monitors staff working in Integrated Family Support Services.
Performs community outreach and partnerships to increase the knowledge of integrated family support.
Oversees the work activities of the support staff in the demonstration counties.
Assist local staff with implementation and ensure effective processes are put in place.
Directs subordinate professional staff in management of the performance evaluation process.
Provides oversight in the development, coordination of the program within the demonstration counties.
Ensures the reporting of findings, conclusions, and recommendations to management and others.
Serves as a critical liaison internally and externally in planning, developing, and evaluation in the performance process.
This position will also serve as a member of the Integrated Family Support administrative team.
Qualifications
Two years of experience managing a social service program, Overall 5 years of progressive growth in management. At least two years of social service or public health field experience. BS in Business, Public Administration, or related field Working knowledge of quality assurance methodology and practices. General skill in using software and system testing tools. Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, program languages databases, and software development fundamentals two years of which must have been attained in a cross-platform Information Technology development environment. Demonstrated positive experience in the performance of change management functions.
NOTE: Experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis, if evaluated as equivalent.
Preference will be give to applicants who, in addition to meeting the above requirements, possess knowledge/experience in one or more of the following:
Bachelors Degree
At least 8 years experience in the Human Services Field
7 years of Supervisory experience
Experience with Safe Care Module is preferred
Ability to perform statistical analysis of program performance
