Position Overview:
Lead and guide the overall talent acquisition process for a large, complex and often global client group. Consult with senior management to build a strategic sourcing and selection plan, and ensure the candidate and manager experience is as magical as our brands. Lead the creation and development of specific candidate sourcing channels (e.g. online, direct sourcing, referrals, etc). Drive candidate generation and develop methods for attracting high potential targets. Develop methods, tools and best practices for improving candidate flow and overall efficiency. Identify potential new channels and sourcing methods tracking and reporting on channel performance and effectiveness. Help to design communication targeted at each talent pool. Review resumes/candidate profiles and contact those candidates whose backgrounds look promising for a potential fit with the Company. Conduct structured candidate interviews, excite candidate about value proposition, pitch position(s), screen for intellectual depth, collect compensation requirements and other general information. Manage the interview proces. Manage and report on candidate pipeline. Facilitate decision meetings and bring candidates through to successful hire.
Function Specific Activities:Develop annual talent acquisition plans by reviewing and analyzing theprevious year results for acquiring talent vs. company needs, inputfrom senior management regarding current business needs and availableresources.Develop the work plan and schedule for candidate selection processes(including testing, assessment, debrief and salary offer) based oninput from the hiring managers and candidates to ensure efficiency,consistency, and effectiveness of the talent acquisition process.Monitor progress against the business unit's annual diversity goalsand recommend corrective actions if appropriate.Develop/coordinate sourcing work plans for positions (e.g., POP, thirdparty recruiter, internal referrals) by reviewing position requirementsand gathering information from hiring managers to ensure a qualified,diverse candidate pool.Develop and maintain relationships with external talent sources (e.g.,associations, colleges, recruitment agencies and the Company'sinternship program) to ensure a consistent process that results ingenerating a qualified, diverse talent pool for the Company.Interview job candidates using targeted selection tools against theposition requirements to identify the most qualified individual for thejob.Conduct and document the candidate debrief process to provide guidancefor the selection and to support the final decision/results.Communicate the interview debrief results to external candidates toprovide feedback and complete the talent acquisition process.Develop and communicate salary recommendations for new hire andinternal job change offers based on current compensation, peer equity,and skill sets/experience required for the positions to ensure accurateand internally equitable offers.Determine implementation strategies and customization requirements forHR plans, programs, processes, and tools to ensure local business unitneeds are metEducation:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experienceRelated Work Experience:At least 9 yearsCore Competencies:Drives Innovative Business Improvements: Develops new insights into solutionsthat result in organizational improvements; promotes a work environment thatfosters creative thinking, innovation and rational risk-taking.Balances Immediate and Long-Term Priorities: Seeks to meet critical objectiveswhile considering the impact of those decisions and activities on the abilityto achieve long-term goals.Delivers Results: Focuses on the critical few objectives that add the mostvalue and channels own and others' energy to consistently deliver results thatmeet or exceed expectations.Imports and Exports Good Ideas: Relentlessly seeks, shares and adopts ideasand best practices in and outside the Company and embraces change introduced byothers.Develops and Inspires Others: Builds and maintains relationships thatmotivate, guide, and/or reinforce the performance of others toward goalaccomplishments.
