Job Description:

The Director of Risk Management and Quality Improvement has the broad responsibility to protect the hospital's assests from loss and ensure continous, measurable improvement. Responsibilities include: Planning, coordinating and directing the hospital's risk management and quality improvement programs. Analyzing risk data information, determining patterns and trends and making recommendations for change. Preparing written and verbal hospital managment reports. Ensurning an on-going collection, screening and evaluation of information about important aspects of patient care in order to identify opportunities for improving care.

Job Requirements: 

Qualified candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing or other related mental health program and possess a valid FL Risk Management license. Candidates must have five years clinical experience in an in-patient psychiatric setting with knowledge of high risk areas. Three years risk management and quality improvement experience required.
