Works under the direction of the Hardware Reliability Engineer to process in warranty returns and perform testing and failure analysis of warranty returns as assigned
* Unpacking warranty returns, inspecting the parts and recording observations of physical damage, switch settings, missing parts, etc., logging the returns into a database, and sorting the returns by part number
* Correlate warranty returns against the Falcon claims database
* Make follow-up calls to field offices to gather more information on selected warranty returns
* Test selected field returns for pass/fail using various factory test or other testing methods
* Assists the Hardware Reliability Engineer perform failure analysis troubleshooting of selected failed parts using various test equipment, oscilloscopes, and circuit schemati
* Ability to meet short- and long-term deadlines
* Effectively meet the needs of internal and external customers
* Ability to work regularly and dependably
* Ability to function in a team environment
* Demonstrate ability to cope with stress and maintain a pleasant and cooperative temperament with internal and external customers

* Ability to lift large boxes weighing 25 to 50 pounds.

Minimum Qualifications and Competencies Qualifications
* Enrolled in a Bachelor or Masters of Science Electrical Engineering degree program.
* Familiarity/experience with reading electrical schematics for both panel and board level.
* Familiarity/experience using Oscilloscopes, and Volt-Ohm Meters
* Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel
