HOURS: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm. On call required one week per month.DUTIES: Serves as a primary interface with Lab Information System vendors, the Waukesha Memorial Hospital Information Systems staff and the Laboratory. Develops and maintains the laboratory information systems to enable optimum function of the laboratory information systems.REQUIREMENTS: Information Technology degree with experience in clinical applications OR Medical Technologist degree with 3 or more years experience with information technology. Project management, problem solving, and knowledge of computer system integration and interfacing. Knowledge of laboratory operations is helpful, including billing, workload recording, processing and reporting workflow. Skills in analyzing, adapting and developing materials, criteria, procedures, protocols, and programs.
