JOB SUMMARY:
Provides professional nursing care as directed by the Washington State Nurse Practice Act and Pacific Medical Centers policies, procedures, and protocols; i.e. provides primary and specialty health care services in collaboration with other members of the health care team while integrating the nursing roles of clinical, teaching, consulting, care coordination/case management, and leadership.Utilizes a systematic approach to nursing practice, incorporating the principles of Nursing Process when delivering care.
REQUIREMENTS:
Required
*Nursing degree (Baccalaureate, Associate or Diploma) from an accredited school of nursing.
*Currently licensed to practice in Washington State.
*Basic Life Support certification within 2 month of hire, required.
*One year recent RN experience in a patient care setting or clinical commensurate.
*Behavioral Health assignments only:Two years experience in acute or ambulatory Behavioral Health.
*Computer skills: typing, email, and word processing.
Preferred:
*Two-plus years recent RN experience in a patient care setting.
*Recent prior experience in an out-patient setting.
*Behavioral Health assignments only:Three years progressive experience, including medication management.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
*Demonstrated application of excellent customer service skills.
*Excellent verbal and written communication.
*Fluency with written and spoken English.
*Bilingual preferred
*Excellent interpersonal skills.
*Demonstrated ability to independently attend to details, prioritize, delegate complete multiple tasks and problem-solve.
*Teaching skills.
*Ability to use an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system preferred.
*Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.
