Task Description: A professional to assist in the development of a large, complex, multi-tier distributed system (500+ end users), to develop and deploy a new system. The working title for this individual will be Database Developer. This person will be responsible for: (a) maintaining DB2 model, which will include database maintenance and writing stored procedures and triggers (b) database modeling (Entity Relationship Modeling). This person must have: (a) experience creating DB2 databases (b) experience creating stored procedures and triggers for high performance. 
Basic Skills Required:
Experience with the design and review of database systems to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to technical standards (2 years experience within the last 5 years).
Experience monitoring application systems performance (2 years experience within the last 5 years).
Experience working effectively on a team of analysts, programmers, and user staff in an application development environment (3 years experience within the last 5 years).
Requires a minimum of 2 years experience within the last 5 years in this job class.
Additional Skills Required:
Highly experienced with DB2 (2 years experience within the last 5 years).
Experienced in writing DB2 triggers and stored procedures (2 years experience within the last 5 years).
Experienced in Entity Relationship Database Modeling Design (2 years experience within the last 5 years).
Experienced in database tuning (2 years experience within the last 5 years).
Experienced working on conversion projects (2 years experience within the last 5 years).
Experience identifying orphan records and determining the best way to clean up these records (2 years experience within the last 5 years).
Experience identifying and resolving data issues that do not conform to the expected standard (2 years experience within the last 5 years).
