Job Purpose: To serve the needs of the health plan members and the other patients of the Kaiser Permanente Health Care Program. Under supervision is responsible for assessing, planning, directing, providing and evaluating nursing care for patients and coordinating nursing care activities with other health care disciplines.
Education Requirements: Graduate of accredited School of Nursing: Bachelors Degree preferred. Current RN License upon hire. Current BLS w/AED certification
Minimum Qualifications:
3 years acute care nursing experience within the last 5 years. Rhythm and dysrhythmia recognition. Competent in procedural sedation. Advanced Cardiac Life Support
Assist with GI and Pul procedures.
Take after hours call. Demonstrate critical thinking and sound clinical judgement.
Must demonstrate warmth, cultural competence and responsiveness to customer needs.
Preferred: ACLS Procedural Sedation. Experience with GI and/or Pulmanary procedures
Hours:On Call/Variable Shift/After Hours on call for Endoscopy service (ACU).
