Quality Inspector 2

The Quality Inspector II visually examines all books after trimming and removes defective books. The defective books are logged in the Bindery Production Report and the operators are made aware of any on-going quality concerns. End of Line responsibilities involve setting up and monitoring the boxing, palletizing, and labeling of finished books.

 Key Responsibilities ·Monitor trimmed books for visible defects
·Remove all non-conforming books
·Repair books
·Maintain accurate and complete paperwork
·Maintain current ISO documentation
·Set up and monitor end of line tasks
·Other duties as assigned

 Qualifications ·Previous inspecting experience preferred
·Basic math skills
·Basic computer skills for e-mail & Excel
·Ability to read, write, and speak English.
·Excellent ability to attend to detail 
·Frequently required to stand, walk, and work at a desk. Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
·Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime and weekends required.
