As our Human Resources (HR) Director in Nike's US region, you'll have primary responsibility for the US Distribution organization, which encompasses three large facilities. You'll also oversee HR activities for both the US Finance and US Supply Chain teams at WHQ. You'll be responsible for HR leadership and direction in order to drive the achievement of business plans through strategic consulting to senior management on key business and HR issues; ensure Nike's policies, procedures and programs are adapted to large field locations for local relevance; and lead organizational design, organizational effectiveness, development and renewal to capitalize on growth opportunities. This opportunity also involves driving HR planning strategies and initiatives to develop, implement and manage the organization's human capital. In addition, you'll ensure proactive planning occurs with all functional areas, including Compensation, Employee Relations, Staffing and HR Operations, in order to meet business needs and learning.

 
 

 Qualifications 

 

Requirements for the position include:

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Behavioral Sciences or a related field 

Advanced degree in Organizational Development/Consulting, Business or Legal is preferred 

8 years' proven leadership in all core consultative and administrative areas of HR, including organizational design and development; performance/compensation management; labor relations; succession planning and recruitment/selection; leadership and competency development and diversity 

2 years' managerial experience 

2 years' additional experience in lieu of a degree 

Experience managing multiple site locations 

Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
