Occupational Staff NurseThe Occupational Staff Nurse will manage the Health Services Department, including employee medical assistance and follow-up for all work related injuries or illnesses. In addition, assists in reducing / eliminating the incidence of occupational injuries and illnesses while providing a safe and healthful work environment that does not aggravate the associate’s injury or illness. Maintains OSHA record keeping and ensures compliance with medical management programs; manages cases and claims. QUALIFICATIONS• Familiar with FMLA and ADA Laws and standard STD/LTD Policies• Must be authorized to work in the US• Ability to provide primary case management to ill and injured associates within the limits of professional licensure and medical directives• Performs screening test and biological monitoring indicated by regulatory requirements.• Ability to provide on-site training and employee health educationEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. LPN will be considered.• Minimum of five (5) years experience as a Nurse, preferably in an industrial manufacturing setting (including assembly / machine shop).• Experience in promoting and coordinating activities of the Health and Wellness Program a plus.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS•Nursing Certificate in the State of Oklahoma•Current CPR Certification (Type C)This is a full-time position and hours are flexible - 8-5, 9-6 or 10-7.
