As a Project Lead in Engineering Services, you will be working on the production of construction documents for multi-unit clients. You will work both independently and within a team to perform advanced level tasks and research issues. Using advanced knowledge of Engineering, you will use CAD or other software to make changes on projects in accordance with client requirements, code requirements, standards, and site adjustments. In this role you will perform advanced engineering calculations for the development of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, and/or electrical). This role requires significant exercise of judgment on details relative to the completion of construction plans, such as modifications needed. You will be expected to train, assist, and provide team direction and instruction to produce complete sets of construction documents. You will be responsible for your specific discipline section of a project, meeting established timeframes, and ensuring total project deliverables exceed the expectations of the clients.Requirements: - 4 year Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent knowledge gained from education and/or work experience- At least 3-5 years work experience in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection engineering- At least 3 years experience working on production of construction documents- Proficiency in the current version of AutoCAD or Microstation software- Proficiency with Microsoft “Office” suite of programs- Knowledge and understanding of Engineering codes- Demonstrated competence with the A/E design process and high level knowledge of specification development leading to complete construction documents- Familiarity with commonly utilized calculation and compliance software / techniques relevant to job function- Ability to follow instruction from team members- Ability to delegate tasks through clear and concise communication to team members- Ability to multi-task on various stages of projects while meeting specified deadlines on each project
