This executive will lead the project management office for the Currenex technology group which includes development, technical operations, and capacity planning. The individual will be focused on the planning, management, and deployment of the next-generation datacenter and remote access strategy for the Currenex exchange platform. Responsibilities will include the development of a specification for long-term business needs, development of budget and forecast for site expenses, site selection, site acquisition, and deployment oversight. 
 
Hands-on experience in a high-technology environment is needed, significant transactional business knowledge is a plus, and experience in managing multiple teams working hand-in-hand with the business units. The individual will have proven analytical, decision making, interpersonal and communication skills. In addition, he/she must have proven managerial and leadership skills, proven project management skills, and proven program management skills. The individual must be senior enough to interface with senior business leads and be able to interact effectively with key clients alongside sale and business development executives. Technical acumen to interface with senior application development staff and executives is a must. 
 
 
 Job Specifications
 
BA/BS required. 10+ yrs experience required, financial services preferred. 6-8 yrs mgmt experience required. Strong organizational, leadership and interpersonal, written/oral skills necessary. Demonstrated record of success in project management well versed in the discipline of running high-profile, multi-faceted, client-facing projects. Demonstrated record of success in contract negotiations, business-aligned technology projects and client-facing executive presentation skills. 
 
More specific duties include: 
" Contribute to the strategic technology planning for core business systems 
" Communicate project information and status to all appropriate parties 
" Assign responsibilities, identify needed resources, and develop project plans to ensure timely completion of projects 
" Review all plans and monitor task deadlines 
" Negotiates agreements and contracts with technology providers 
" Serve as a technical matter expert/system matter expert on most critical and complex datacenter and connectivity projects 
" Interface in an effective/senior manner with the senior business leads and key client technology groups
