Currently, we have an exciting career opportunity for an Account Specialist with Aon's Global Client Network (AGCN) in our New York, NY office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
The Account Specialist maintains effective and productive relationships with clients. Gathers and analyzes data on exposures, loss history and standard and unique coverage needs for submissions with the Syndication Unit. Performs submission assembly/creation where assigned. Manages client open items lists and responds to client ad-hoc requests. Gathers and analyzes data and drafts assigned elements of client service plans, stewardship reports and other convincing presentations tailored to the needs of the audience and the circumstances of the presentation. Actively supports and monitors the renewal process. Where applicable, serves as liaison with Aon Client Services (ACS), coordinating activities of the client service team and ACS to ensure that key processes assigned are performed effectively. Receives and manages routine and complex coverage inquiries and endorsement requests. Serves as key client liaison for items such as certificates, auto I. D.s and location additions. Monitors and follows-up on invoice generation, fee agreements, AVX analysis, ORBIT data, receivables and collections. Addresses and resolves problems. Performs related duties as assigned.
Takes an active role in the learning of technical aspects of the AGCN NY team position
Training requirements: ACES prescribed courses, incl. Time Management class, brokers license and AGCN NY New Hire Training, ARM designation is suggested
Support role on large complex accounts, as well as primary team account handler for small accounts
Dept Core Functions to include, but not limited to:
o Network correspondence
o Cash Flow Monitoring / Revenue Share activity
o GAMS policy digest maintenance
o Implementation of global programs to the network
o Dissemination of premium allocations and payment tracking
o Special Projects (assist with due diligence, stewardship reports, etc)
o Coordinate with ACS dept (certificates, invoices, etc)
o Maintaining Open Items Lists / Tracking activities of team members incl. the network
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Strategic thinker, strong organizational skills, strong interpersonal communication skills, presentation skills
MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
1-3 years.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree or work equivalent. Willingness to obtain Brokers License.
