Lead a Business Management function responsible for supporting Shared Services and other business partners in analyzing and recommending products and services on behalf of organizations and Business Groups within Prudential. The process includes all aspects of RFP coordination and vendor governance with an emphasis on driving continuous improvements in total cost and quality. 
 
In addition to these large-scale, enterprise-wide initiatives, the position is responsible for managing Prudential's Supplier Diversity process. Supplier Diversity is responsible for identifying opportunities for minority and women-owned suppliers to provide goods and services to Prudential. 
 
This position also manages the Administrative (mail, courier and express mail) and Food Services (dining centers, catering) operations throughout the country. This function includes significant vendor management and contract negotiation activities. 
 
The position manages approximately 10 Prudential staff members, most of whom support the Administrative Services function.

The successful candidate will have significant managerial and project management experience. Familiarity with RFPs, contract negotiations and vendor management is a plus. 
 
The candidate must have the ability to lead teams of diverse members and interact with vendor communities in a positive way, upholding the strict professional and ehtical standards of Prudential.
