The person in this position is required to be bilingual Spanish. Provide telephone answering and guests reception services and perform various administrative duties for the company or Plan. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Professionally answers and directs all incoming calls from other AMERIGROUP personnel, members, providers, and other business contacts. 2. Takes messages as necessary. 3. Greets guests and issues visitors' badges and contact appropriate AMERIGROUP personnel in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner. 4. Assists others with projects such as special mailings, light word processing, etc. 5. Opens and closes visitor area and switchboard. 6. Ensures that security and visitor security is maintained at all times. 7. Receives and distributes incoming and outgoing mail and packages. 8. Manages faxes and fax equipment. 9. Orders supplies for department or plan. 10. Type memos, correspondence, reports and other documents. 11. Performs a variety of clerical duties. 12. Other duties as assigned
