JOB SUMMARY:The Sales Account Executive, Individual Healthcare Solutions serves as the primary liaison between broker/agents and the companies operational areas. Recruits, services and supports broker/agent sales. This position is responsible for providing sales and service support for Brokers and General Agents in an assigned territory to achieve sales/retention goals. Performs other work as required or assigned.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Achieve monthly and annual sale/retention objectives and targets.Interact with the brokers on a daily basis as new business is acquired.Serve as an advocate in expediting the individul product application process.Perform regular periodic service calls at broker offices (i.e. delivery of packets and enrollment materials, review of commission statements, broker contracts and application status reports).Contact brokers providing education on new products and processes.Work with brokers and general agents on training issues related to sales and administration of Individual Products and ancillary products (i.e. Life Insurance, Vision/Dental and LTC Products).Identify and recruit new brokers to sell Individual Health and ancillary products.Respond to all broker and general agency calls and correspondence and provide specific information regarding enrollment procedures, rate quotations, ID cards, commissions, products, benefits, etc.Act as liaison between key operational areas (underwriting, case installation, membership ,etc…) of the Company and brokers/agents to facilitate sales process, report on application status, research broker commission issues and responds to broker service needs. Education, Training and ExperienceAssociates or Bachelors degree preferred. Participantion in Sales/leadership training programs. Demonstrated experience in negotiations. Affiliation with Nebraska Association of Heath Underwriters. Three to five year’s sales experience.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesStrong persuasion and negotiation skills are required. Ability to travel within the state 10 to 25% of the time. Demonstrated individual and group presentation skills. Current State of Nebraska Department of Insurance licensure in life and health. Competent in Microsoft Power Point, Excel and Word. Strong verbal and oral communications skills. Team oriented and able to work with others in a competitive market. High level goal orientation. Demonstrated abllity to close sales in a highly competitive environment.
