Job Description:
This position manages the Medical Records Department and analyzes medical records to ensure compliance with federal regulators and payers to facilitate reimbursement and ensure continuity of patient care
Job Requirements:
Successful candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Health Information Management; AS/ART acceptable; 2 years of supervisory experience in HIM field; Prior experience in a psychiatric mental health setting preferred; and Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) credentials preferred.
Facility Information:
Parkwood Behavioral Health System is a 128 bed facility, devoted exclusively to the care and treatment of children, adolescents and adults with psychiatric and substance abuse issues. Since commencing operations in April, 1987, Parkwood has successfully served North Mississippi and the Mid-South region through the offering of comprehensive mental health services. Programs include inpatient, partial intensive outpatient and residential treatment. Our Residential Treatment Center has a fully licensed school on campus known as Park Academy.
